Playing Outdoors!
Snowed In

There are NO words to describe....
The amazing, wonderful and relaxing time that we had in Cancun. I don’t think I have ever been so giddy while on vacation. I repeatedly told Aaron how thankful and grateful I was for him to take me on this trip and for finally agreeing to go. We are so blessed to be able to go on such an awesome vacation while I am staying home with the girls. We are already planning on going again. It is such a beautiful place. It was hot and truly enjoyable! Me amor Cancun, Mexico!
Santa's elves working hard!
We got our tree, waited for it to defrost, and then we were busy! The girls love unloading our 6 boxes of Christmas goodies and are pretty good helpers. We kept the twine on this year until we put it in the stand, added water, and put on the angel.....much much easier! However, we now have a crack in the stand and about 3 pitchers of water on our carpet. ("Honey, how can this tree be that thirsty?!") Oops!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
We finally got our Christmas tree and decorated the house. It seems much more cozy this year and we are full of the Christmas spirit around here. It must be all the snow. First we went to get our tree. It was a perfect day to pick one out because of pictures and the novelty of it all BUT it was colder than a witch's t*t wearing a brass bra (as my dad says!). We picked it out in a hurry and then headed down the hill for some hot cocoa and cookies. The girls and I stayed inside and got warm, ate, and drank. You can see (the last pic) what daddy did. We forgot to have Aaron bring home our big blue truck from his work and so we had to resort to tying the blanket wrapped tree to the top of the burban! Way to go daddy!
Playing catch-up!
Wow! Where did time go?? We just had Thanksgiving last week, right?! I am posting about 3 weeks worth today because we are way behind....I guess vacationing right before Christmas does make things a little crazy BUT so so so well worth it!
