Toothless wonder and my winking pirate

Kasey lost her 4th tooth last night. It was, however, a front tooth and a little bit of my baby left with it. She looks adorable but I am waiting for the big permanent tooth to make its way in there. She will then look way too much like a big girl! :-(

Reese mastering her wink. I think she will be a pirate next Halloween! Goof ball!

A lull in the production

Hi! I just realized that I have not posted in over a month! We have not taken any pictures nor have we done anything too exciting. Well, besides New Years with The Grays...we had a fabulous time AND me (Christi) getting a quiet girls weekend away.....I scrapbooked (well, I tried), I read, and ate.....wonderful weekend AND the whole family heading to Yakima for the weekend....we went bowling, saw some nieces/nephews b-ball games, and we went out with my sisters and their significant others.......very enjoyable.
I will try to be a better mom/photographer/journal"er" in the future.

Playing Outdoors!

We played in the snow today and boy do we have a lot! Aaron was shoveling snow from our driveway to use on our igloo (still in progress). Kasey and Reese had a ball but the snow isn't quite wet enough to make a snowman and our street, which is a great sledding hill, hadn't been packed enough to really get sleds moving. So, we decided to make an igloo. In the end, it was just Aaron and I working on it because Kasey lost interest and Reese was too cold. Anyway, we had fun. Sweeda had fun romping around but was just a shiverin' after a few minutes so she went back inside.

Snowed In

We made our best gingerbread house to date! It was loads of fun and the girls did a great job. I think they put one candy in their mouths for every candy they "glued" onto the house.

There are NO words to describe....

The amazing, wonderful and relaxing time that we had in Cancun. I don’t think I have ever been so giddy while on vacation. I repeatedly told Aaron how thankful and grateful I was for him to take me on this trip and for finally agreeing to go. We are so blessed to be able to go on such an awesome vacation while I am staying home with the girls. We are already planning on going again. It is such a beautiful place. It was hot and truly enjoyable! Me amor Cancun, Mexico!

Santa's elves working hard!

We got our tree, waited for it to defrost, and then we were busy! The girls love unloading our 6 boxes of Christmas goodies and are pretty good helpers. We kept the twine on this year until we put it in the stand, added water, and put on the angel.....much much easier! However, we now have a crack in the stand and about 3 pitchers of water on our carpet. ("Honey, how can this tree be that thirsty?!") Oops!
